I know that the Lord Protector was reading Mr Marvolo's journal. I know that he probably doesn't read a Mudblood's journal. But if he is reading, thank you, Sire.

Yes, only I overheard someone asking Harry whether his Mudblood could read and write at all, because I never write when it's not to you all. I suppose they must watch my journal as well as his. That's very Slytherin, isn't it? But anyhow, I didn't want them to think that I couldn't read or write, I know that's silly, but anyway.

I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up to No Good

Hermione, I'm coming to London!! The Headmistress told me tonight that she's leaving for the city tomorrow, and she's bringing me with her! She said that she's been told she should claim one of the great houses in London, because of her position as Headmistress. I don't think she likes the idea, exactly. She's going to tour the houses they were offering her so she can pick the one she wants, and she wants me to come along (she told me 'you will at least tell me if any of them seem to be monstrosities.' In that sort of peppery way she has, with her mouth turned down at the corner, you know?)

I was so surprised when she told me that I blurted out that I hoped I might have a chance to see you. I was afraid she'd be angry with me, but she acted like it wasn't a strange question at all, and she told me she thought it quite likely. So perhaps we'll have a chance to snatch a few minutes with each other.
